AHA joins forces with MNP at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) National Conference
AHA team members, Hash Qureshi, Sarah Lyons, Chris Stephan and Stephanie Armstrong, joined the MNP team at the IIA's national conference held in Halifax from September 25-28, 2016. Hash Qureshi and Sarah Lyons presented with Dean Shivji and François-Michel Brière from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) on value-added risk-based audit planning leveraging business architecture and business intelligence. Download this white paper for more background on the presentation, which was delivered in 'Prezi' format. Sarah Lyons then joined a panel discussion at the Government Internal Audit Council of Canada (GIACC), held from September 28-30 to discuss emerging trends and best practices in horizontal assurance. All AHA team members enjoyed the conference and benefited from the engaging discussions, scheduled events, and presentations. We also joined MNP, one of the conference's main sponsors, in celebrating our upcoming merger, which has since taken effect!
