Coaching relationships are an essential part of progression and learning.
At AHA, we strive to develop coaching relationships from the moment you walk in the door.
You'll be paired with a colleague upon your arrival - someone who understands your new role and can support your transition into life at AHA. Your colleagues become invaluable resources as you begin your first project at AHA, and these colleagues quickly turn into strong friendships.
You'll also be matched with a coach, a senior consultant or manager directly responsible for your professional development. Someone with experience and tenure, a broad perspective on your progression, and will help you reach your short-term and long-term goals.
You'll receive informal coaching from each of your project team members. You'll gain support and a wealth of knowledge working in close-knit teams with principals, managers and your co-workers.
Regular feedback will help you reach your full potential. AHA's feedback system will help you to identify your strengths and improve upon your weaknesses. You'll receive a review of the work you completed after each project, in addition to semi-annual evaluations. Your performance and personal development plan will be discussed openly and honestly. Of course, feedback is not limited to formal processes and you will receive, and also give, regular informal feedback. Our goal is to provide you with the means to advance to the next level.
